add dry ingredients to liquid ingredients in large pan stir and cook over medium heat until you cannot stir dough at all- remove from stove and knead dough store in covered container
I changed it a little for class use. I boil the water first then pour it over the dry ingredients and mix. I then add the oil half way through the mixing. It seems to work fine.
This is the best recipe I have found for playdoh. It lasts for months.
- 3 cups flour
- 1 1/2 cup salt
- 3 cups water
- 6 teaspoons cream of tartar
- 3 tablespoons oil
- a few drops of food coloring or a package of dry kool-aid
